On the first day of school we were asked to write 6- word memoirs about anything. It was a time for us to reflect on our lives. Silent with dedication in our eyes, we were still struggling. No that's only 5 words; darn that too many words. At first I didn't know what to write about. Stuck with nothing to say, no its only 5 words. And then it just clicked:
What would I be without sports?
Mornings are the worst; love nights.
Only six words? What? Why? How?
Quiet at times; loud at others.
You may say I'm a dreamer.
But I'm not the only one.
Can I just be a penguin?
Sorry I can't, I have soccer.
I just want to visit Belgium.
I see friends more than family.
Can I just travel the world?
Proud of my work, I decided to showcase a 6-word memoir at open house. Here is my final product.
