The "All-Time Greatest Panel" is a 2 week project where students debated topics mentioned in President Obama's State of the Union Address based on the perspective of key figures in history. Some examples of key figures used in our panel are Amelia Earhart, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Robert E. Lee, George Washington, and many more.
I was Amelia Earhart for the panel. I had to give an opening statement and respond to questions To read more about my part in the panel, I have attached my opening statement.

Reflection
Overall all, throughout this project, I honestly struggled. I HATE not knowing the point of view from my character, Amelia Earhart. I think that the research process is probably the biggest moment that I will remember when I look back at this project a year from now. To be able to work through something that you were struggling with is so much more meaningful than to breeze through it with no problems. You learn from your mistakes, so if you never made a mistake, how will you ever learn? To challenge yourself to your full potential. To strive for the best you can be at that moment. Everything needs improvements and nothing is perfect; so for me to understand this through this project, was probably the biggest take away I got. Because of this, I am most proud of the research that took place because that is what made the discussion so successful.
